LITTLE HANK was never far away and and came very, fast through the stretch. ARROW HEART was in close quarters on the inside in the early stages. SILVER BANQUET tired badly near the end. The latter was in close quarters on the inside ncaring the stretch turn, but continued well and was caining on the winner at the end. STAR BROOM closed fast and gamely. QUINCY LADY beat the others away, dropped back when headed by OARMOUNT, but came again approaching the stretch turn and raced fairly well to the finish. LITTLE MISTAKE acted badly at the post, broke slowly and made up much ground. OARMOUNT tired. ALMA MAE was taken up when jn close quarters approaching the stretch turn. STAR CLOUD quit badly. MANTECA. slightly back of the others when the start came, was taken up, then met with interference when SHEPS CHANCE crowded him into the outside fence, but came gamely when clear and showed a winning effort. SHEPS CHANCE boiled to the outside soon after the start and also made up much ground. SAN ARDO closed some ground. GREAT MEADOWS soon dropped out of it and appeared to dislike the going.
