CLIPSETTA AT LATONIA Planetoid Probable Favorite in ,000 Added Filly Race. Dixiana Stable Names Three in Shootin High, Dressy and Foolish Moment. , i LATONIA, Ky.f June 5. J. T. Taylora Planetoid, winner of the Joan DArc Stakes at Narragarisett, looms up as favorite in the field of ten fillies which will compete in the ,000 added Clipsetta Stakes, which headlines Saturday afternoons program at Latonia. Planetoids recent speed test conclusively demonstrated that the gray daughter of Ariel is in excellent condition for her joust with the nine rivals named in the overnight entries. Trainer Clyde Van Duseri of Dixiana entered three of the six fillies he had to select from and which includes Shootin High, Dressy and Foolish Moment and it is from this group that the chief contention is expected. Perlette was the only one of the four nominated by J. W. Parrish that trainer J. G. Goode considered worthy of sending after the famous juvenile stake. On recent trials this daughter of Percentage Escarpolette appears to be at her best for the occasion. Hal Price Headleys All Agog and Misapprehension, which made the trip from, Belmont Park for the coveted fixture; the Rockhome Stables Busy Lutrecia, Mrs. R. H. Lloyds Wowo and Millard T. Nelsens Wise Beauty complete the list of probable starters in the rich event. Though the accomplishments of Planetoid thus far this year are certain to attract considerable support, the result is by no means a foregone conclusion as several of the youngsters named in the overnight entries have displayed speed in both winning races and in workouts, preparing for this engagement. Planetoid will shoulder the top impost of 119 pounds, just three more than Dixianas Foolish Moment and Shootin High, whose achievements put their weights at 116 pounds each. The remainder of the field will carry 114 pounds each. With excellent weather in.prpspect and a fast track prevailing for the decision. .of the Clipsetta, which was inaugurated in 1883, and conducted annually without interruption since that date, one of the largest attendances of the current meeting is anticipated by officials of the Latonia Jockey Club.
