The latter swerved at the break and, causing crowding at the first turn, was rushed into the lead, but tired in the drive. BATMAN worked his way up on the inside and finished stronglv. CARL S. broke slowly, improved his position with a rush after going a quarter, but faltered in the drive. GLOWSET was unprepared at the start and made up ground.
