1 DUFFERIN PARK NOTES S Ed Vivell, who will again serve as mutuels manager during the fourteen-day meeting of the Niagara Racing Association, stated that he would leave for the border track shortly after the close of the Dufferin Park meeting to arrange the plant for the opening on July 4. Mr. Vivell has selected his crew to operate the mutuels department and they will report opening day. Horsemen are advised that nominations for the Brantford Handicap, to be run as the co-feature to the A. R. Louden Memorial on opening day at Hamilton, close Thursday. Weights will be released Friday morning. John P. Turner, who will serve as racing secretary during the Hamilton Jockey Club meeting, sent word that he would reach Hamilton from Agawam Park Thursday. Jockey E. Burns, who is under suspension for the balance of the meeting for rough riding, packed his tack and departed for Hamilton where he will join the stable of his contract employer, E. F. Seagram. J. J. Farrell, placing judge on tracks under the jurisdiction of the Independent Canadian Racing Association, departed for Woodstock, Ontario, to attend the funeral of his mother-in-Jaw.
