SHIP ROMAN SOLDIER SUNDAY Sachsenmaier Star Pointing for Arlington Parks Rich Stakes. Special Trains to Make Run to Track in Thirty-Five Minutes Meeting Begins Monday. ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, 111., June 24. Roman Soldier, crack handicap horse rac-1 ing for Elwood Sachsenmaier, will be shipped from New York next Sunday and will arrive at Arlington Park Monday morning, secretary Roy Carruthers was advised here today by New York officials. After earning the respect of handicappers in New England and New York, Roman Soldier will come to the Chicago meeting expressly for his engagement in the 0,000 added Stars and Stripes Handicap, the mile and a furlong holiday feature on July 4, and the 0,000 added Arlington Handicap, the mile and a quarter distance test for older horses which will share the limelight with the richly-endowed Arlington Futurity on closing day, August 1. Special race tiains will leave the Chicago and North Westerns Madison Street station, Chicago, each day of the Arlington Park meeting starting Monday, June 29. The first special will leave Chicago at 12:45 p. m. and the last train at 1:30 p. m., except on Saturdays when the first train will leave Chicago at 12:15. The run from Chicago to Arlington Park will, be made in thirty-five minutes. Track-bound trains will not stop at intermediate stations, except on the 1:00 p. m. and 1:25 runs, which will stop at Jefferson Park. All returning specials will stop at Jefferson Park station, while the last train to leave the track will stop at. Jefferson Park, Irving Park and Clybourn. Beginning June 29 a number of regular trains will stop at the track gates. Round trip fares on the race specials will be 75 cents. , E. K. Brysons Carvola, the fast three-year-old filly which finished second to Hol-lyrood in the Chicago Derby last Saturday, will head the powerful public stable which Bryson will campaign at Arlington Parks meeting, opening June 29. Besides the thirteen horses which race under his own silks, Bryson also will race C. W. Hays Auntie Peyton and Dock Beauchamp, Walter Hard-ests Dusky Devil and Judge Bolton, P. J. Jochums Imperial Pal and H. Florentines More Poise and Black Timber.
