HARD BOILED, well up from the start,, responded gamely to vigorous handling approaching the final three-eighths, drew into the lead after straightening out in the stretch and was never menaced thereafter. PLAYMAY improved her position gradually and finished strongly. THE POINT was away to a slow start, was rushed bard throughout and displayed a good effort. KAI FINN was much used in the opening half mile and tired in the stretch drive. SCOBINA was hard hustled from the break, took a slight advantage and tired. KAI HARRI was unable to keep up in the early racing, gained rapidly when racing on the outside and finished with a rush. ABLE ABE was close up for the entire trip and held on well. BISTRITA was unprepared when the break came, worked her way up gradually and closed a good gap. SHADY WOOD was never a factor after the first quarter. FLIGHT OF GOLD tired.
