P0HP00N IN PUBLIC TRIAL LAUREL, Md., Oct. 12. To give racing patrons of Maryland a treat. Cyrus Field Clarke, who trains Pompoon for Jerome H. Louchheim, has consented to a request to work the colt between races at Laurel, Saturday. As the date falls on his regular work day, Pompoon, providing the racing strip remains fast, will be worked one mile in preparation for his engagement In the New England Futurity. The son of Pompey and Oonagh is scheduled to leave Maryland on October 20. so that he can have his final training at the scene of his next start
