LADY PEENZIE, never far off the pace, was lucky to get through on the rail entering the stretch, responded well to a shaking up and drew clear in the last sixteenth. SKI broke fast, was under light restraint while setting the pace, held on determinedly, but was not good enough. ROCKY PRINCE forced the pace throughout, responded to severe punishment and showed a good effort. TRIOLET began slowly and closed a big gap, losing ground when forced to race wide. EVA B. was blocked going to the first turn and was never a factor.
