BUYS FRENCH DERBY WINNER FOR ENGLISH STUl LONE ON, England. Sir Victor Sassoon has purchased Mieuxce, the best three-year-I old in France. Mieuxce, which is by the Ascot Gold Cup winner, Massine, from ILOlivette, won the Prix du Jockey Club the French Derby at Chantilly in June, I and the Grand Prix de Paris at Long-champ a fortnight later. The colt will not be trained again but is I to take iip stud duties next season. He will stand at the Melton Stud, hear Thetford.
