DUFFERIN PARK TURF NOTEsT In the jockey contest for the Prest-O-Lite wrist watch, jockey T. Aimers has taken the lead for the first day with nine points. Pat Remillard has seven, while F. Dougherty has six and M. Mitchell, five. The points are distributed three for first, two for second and one for third. Twenty-two nominations have been received for the Little Saratoga Handicap at about five furlongs, which will be run on Wednesday, the list containing such speed artists as Spring Moon, Vanished, Toe Dance. Hittie, Learoyd, Calico Miss, Big Fish, Morvim and Clasp, and a keen and interesting contest should develop. The brood mares of the H. C. Hatch stable were loaded at Agincourt, Monday afternoon, for San Bruno, Calif. The shipment included the French-breds which were purchased in France this summer. The horses in training will be raced on the California circuit, while the brood mares will be shipped to the J. W. Marchbank ranch at Walnut Creek, Calif. Sid Tomlin purchased the juvenile filly Doris Ramsden from "Conny" Smyth following the running of the first even Monday, at private terms. W. Drinkwater has taken the platers Crowland Lad and Silk Express over to train the rest of the Ontario season. Jockey J. Passero plans to leave for Baltimore, Md., in a few days to join the stable of G. C. Brenton.
