RAPID BELLS, on the outside and under good urging throughout, shook off DOMINANT STAR after a half mile and then held on well. RISIBILITY, outrun early, came to the outside for the drive and closed with cood courage. DOMINANT STAR, much used in the early racing, tired in the Final eiehth. SHERIFF EUGENE had no mishaps. The others were outrun. The latter, having the most early speed, failed to withstand the winner, but hung on well under pressure. SWIFT QUEEN, outrun early, steadily improved her position on the outside and finished with good courage. ALLENS, never far back, hung on fairly well in the drive. WELL HEELED, shuffled back soon after the start, closed well in the final quarter. KANAL quit. KOLEY BEY, well up throughout, failed to rally to pressure after five-eighths and was tiring at the end. HAREM QUEEN, on the inside throughout, finished courageously.. JEFFREY raced evenly. LITTLE COQUINA failed to threaten. GUESS quit. FEMME, placed on the outside for the start and away poorly, ran out on the first turn and was cased thereafter.
