I LEADING AMERICAN JOCKEYS Present indications point to a new leader among American jockeys next week. Basil James is outriding Frank Chojnacki at present and, scoring with six of his mounts last week, is now within two winners of the Cicero boy, who has held the leadership for months. Chojnacki added one winner last week, to make his total for the year 199. James added six, to increase his record to 197. In addition, James, from the standpoint of percentage, is superior to Chojnacki, the tatters record being .17, and James .23. A. Gray had the high mark last week when he scored with ten horses.
