Harry Neusteter, who disposed of the draft of horses that he took to Jamiaca, returned here and took charge of the remaining part of his stable. William M. Grant purchased the four-year-old sprinter, Galon Boy, from W. W. Vaughan for a sum that was not made public. Grant will train the colt himself. It was definitely established, according to word received from Sibley Hospital in Washington, D. C, where Luke Tully is a patient, that his hip was broken when he slipped and fell at Laurel, Saturday. Paul B. Codd arrived from New York to attend the wedding of his daughter, Cleo, who will be married Tuesday evening in Baltimore, Md. Anthony Pelleteri shipped a draft of his horses to Arlington Downs; Texas, headed by the good handicap performer. Where Away. The remainder of the stable will stay for the meeting here and at Pimlico. The following horses, Jimmie D., Our Ship and Flower Time have received sufficient schooling and have been released from the list of those receiving barrier education. J. P. Jones has added a draft of yearlings to the sale of horses to be held in the paddock at Laurel, Thursday, and several have been listed by S. W. Labrot and Co. Further additions are expected by William Jennings and Dr. Henry J. McCarthy, who are conducting the vendue. Edward S. Welter, who dispatched the fields at Rose Tree Hunts at Media, Pa., Saturday, returned from that point and announced that a large crowd attended a pro-gram of six races. Frank J. Bryan, who served as honorary ; steward at Rose Tree Hunts, Saturday, returned to New York. He distributed stake blanks for the one-day meeting to be run by the United Hunts Racing Association at Belmont Park election day. Commonwealth, useful four-year-old in the Mrs. Walter M. Jeffords stable, was reported to have suffered injuries at Laurel, Satur-: day, while on the track for a workout. The colt ran into another horse which was also working.
