LARO KEYS forced the pace for five-eighths, took a slight lead approaching the stretch, but tired when put to a drive. PETER DIXON moved up" with a rush leaving the back stretch, lost ground racing wide and held on well. BOURBON ROSE tired after reaching a contending position. GRAND SWEEP quit after five-eighths. The latter, under snug restraint in the early stages but never far back, responded gamely to hard urging and finished strongly. AUTUMN LEAVES began slowly, worked her way up on the inside rapidly in the last three-eighths and finished well. MISS GLACE closed fast and gamely under strong urging.
