PASS SUNDAY RACING BILL SPRINGFIELD, 111., June 23. Sunday horse racing at Illinois tracks is permitted under a bill passed by the senate today by a vote of 40 to 3. The measure, sponsored by Senator James O. Monroe Dem. of Collins-ville, limits racing to six days a week, but one of those days may be the Sabbath. The bill went to the house.
