IRISH MOON showed speed from the start but swerved over in front of SPA MADNESS inside the turn, aad again near the eighth, past, then drew away under urging. SPA MADNESS, a forward factor from the start, was going strongly when annoyed, then came again to finish gamely. FOUR BAGGER was kept in a forward position from the start and was in close quarters when the leader swerved, then held on well. DAUGHTER FAIR dwelt slightly at the start, moved up gamely on the outside, but was annoyed by LONG ...WAVE rounding the turn. MY PAULINE showed speed, then faltered. LONG WAVE broke slowly and was .trying to bear out rounding the stretch. BABY LYNN raced evenly. HARRIET R. showed early speed but quit badly. NO WIRE was outrun. AXACAN was taken under restraint when outrun, but responded . wken called upon, finishing on his own courage. GREATOREX was poorly handled throughout, bobbled badly at the eighth fence, then tired. TRICKWICK was rushed into contention, made a determined bid rounding the stretch, then faltered. DAYTONIAN was outrun the first part and closed some ground at the end. LOST BATTALION had no mishaps.
