T. C. W0RDEN BUYS GREAT MARE HANDY MANDY HOMEWOOD, 111., June 23. Bud Burmes-ter, acting for the Waggoner Brothers Three Ds Stock Farm, closed two important transactions here this morning. To Thomas C. Worden, Chicago sportsman, he sold the former, star racing mare Handy Mandy in foal to Royal Ford, and to Herbert M. Woolf, who races under the nom de course of Wool-ford Farm, the two-year-old Top Billing, with all his stake engagements. Top Billing was bred by the Waggoner Brothers at their Three Ds Farm in Texas; Terms were private m both transactions. Worden said that Handy Mandy will be shipped from Texas to H. P. Headleys Beaumont Farm in Ken- -tucky and next season will be bred to Phara-mond II., one of the countrys leading sires. Top Billing, now at Rockingham Park, will be shipped here Thursday and upon arrival, taken over by B. A. Jones, the Woolford Farm trainer.
