STAIRS, slow to start, worked her way forward steadily, was forced to lose ground entering the stretch, came fast when straight and finished strongly. COUNT MAURICE raced wide and held on well. OLO 1VIOR tired.- MOLECULE, fractious, during. which she unseated her rider twice before the start, tired fast after reaching contention on the outside. DOWER tired. SUNCIRCLE BLAZE, well handled and never far back, worked her way forward under light urging, responded to stronger pressure when guided to the outside of the leaders in the drive, "wore ROYAL LINK down in the last stages and won drawing away. ROYAL LINK, probably the: best and saved early, was permitted to bear to the inside after reaching the lead and failed to withstand the winner. FAST ROAMER, hustled along from the start, was in close quarters when ROYAL LINK came over, but held on well. LOSWEEP raced wide. TEMPTING WITCH was done after a half mile. MAGIC LINE worked his way forward through the field and finished strongly. HEAVY SUGAR was outrun. IRISH WAKE quit. THIRD RACE 1 MILE AND 70 YARDS. Genteel Lady, June 29, 19361:425105. IMPERIAL BETSY, unable to improve her early position, was guided to the inside for the drive and finished well. CATCH FLY raced wide and showed little. COUNT UP failed to keep up. CATNAP, much the best and away slowest of all, worked her way forward through the field, was guided to the outside after reaching the stretch and wore the leaders down in the last stages. LADY SARA, far back early, moved up fast in the drive, wore SUN POWER down nearing the final forty yards, but failed to withstand the winner. SUN POWER, going in his best form and energetically handled, moved into the lead at the stretch turn, drew clear rapidly, but failed to withstand the leaders and tired fast near the end. COULEEDAM, outrun early, worked his way forward on the outside and closed with a rush. ERIN TORCH, rushed to the front, was unable to draw clear and tired in the last stages.
