Upon his arrival at the San Antonio track Cadena will break the yearlings Raymond R. Russell has there. In a private transaction here F. E. Turner, acting for his wife, sold the plater Morley Firth to Kenneth Cronk. Jockey G. C. Fisher resumed riding after a brief vacation. Carl Newsome transferred Vola Bowers, Allegory and Waterplay, owned by Jameson and Pershall, to Texas to be turned out for the winter. In a few days Newsome will head for New Orleans. Jockey Ray Conner was called to Houston because of the critical illness of his sister. Jack Burnett, sports program director of radio station WGN, Chicago, left for New Orleans for a few days before returning home. Apprentice P. Keiper, who completed a ten-day suspension for rough riding, returned to action Monday. He was among the leading riders here when the suspension came. S. H. Hill bought the plater Royal Folly from L. Rodriguez for a private consideration. . ! l
