NEW ORLEANS OFFICIALS NEW ORLEANS, La., Nov. 15 General manager Robert S. Eddy, Jr., today announced officials to handle the meeting of the Louisiana Jockey Club, at the Fair Grounds, here which opens its long winter meeting of more than 100 days, beginning Thanksgiving Day. The list remains the same as last year with the exception of the placing judge Fred Crafton, who replaces the late Charles C. Campau. Eddy announced Thomas C. Bradley, widely known steward, would return again as the presiding steward with John T. Ireland and Richard A. Leigh serving with the veteran Kentuckian. The placing judges are: R. A. Leigh, Jr., Fred Crafton and Clifford V. Abbo.
