ASSIGN ROOKIE POLICE An order issued by Commissioner of Police Allman Wednesday night assigned 300 rookie policemen to their first "beats." For the past six weeks they have attended the police instruction school conducted by Col. Philip R. Crippen. They will continue in school until December 6, when the order becomes effective.
