SPILLWAY RESUMES TRAINING NEW ORLEANS, La., Dec. 1. Joe W. Browns three-year-old gelding, Spillway, which was blistered some two weeks ago, has been returned to training at the Fair Grounds and it will not be very long before the son of Cohort is seen under colors at the Louisiana Jockey Clubs track. Spillway was rated as an excellent three-year-old prospect, but failed to take to training kindly in the early part of the year and was given a rest. Coming back to the races in the early autumn the Brown colorbearer eked out a close decision in New York for his second success of the year.
