DO IT raced to the front at once and, given an excellent ride while saving ground, withstood several challenges to draw out in the stretch and won easily. BLUE HOUR raced close up on the outside of DO IT and ALSTON to the stretch, then drew away from the latter, but was no match for the winner in the final drive. BLACK TOREADOR made up ground steadily to finish fairly well. ALSTON was prominent to the stretch, then tired. OVLOP was outrun all the way. COUNSELLOR FAL raced steadily. MOONEYBROOK raced to the front at once and, well rated, was never in serious danger, drawing out easily in the stretch. ROME VENNIE moved up strongly on the inside nearing the stretch turn to save ground thereafter, but did not threaten the winner. MOLLIFY was taken up and to the outside early and showed a creditable effort in the going. TISTRUE was forced wide in the stretch. SANTOURI opened up a long lead after going a quarter and, showing a liking for the going, was never in danger, holding his lengthy advantage, although bearing out slightly in the stretch. HILSINGER responded gamely to punishment in the last half mile, but was tiring at the end. ETHELMONT raced steadily and finished well. TENACE made up some ground. ROCKWOOD quit badly in the stretch. DOLICIA BOY raced to the front early and, withstanding a challenge from ENOCH BORLAND rounding the far turn, retained leadership, although bearing out badly on the stretch, holding PALLIATION to the finish. PALLIATION moved up fast after leaving the back stretch, cut to the inside of the winner on the stretch turn and finished well, but was not good enough. ENOCH BORLAND raced very wide in the first half mile, made a strong move on the far turn and was carried wide by the winner on the stretch turn. PLUM SHOT closed some ground. SWEET MYSTERY hugged the rail throughout. CRYSTAL GLENN had some early speed. SPORTING GREEN was going fairly well at the end. HASSAN was done after going a half mile. Overweight Cumulative, 1 pound; Hassan, 2; Moonface, 5. Corrected weight Sporting Green, 112; Hassan, 109.
