HALTERMEN ARE BUSY NEW ORLEANS, La., Dec. 1. When Mrs. Harold Sherman claimed Morris Griner and Lena J., out of races at the Fair Grounds Monday she got back two horses which raced under .her colors here last winter. She got Lena J. from the partnership of Woodcock and King, and Morris Griner from Mrs. A. M. Creech. Claiming activities here have been quite brisk, for no less than seven horses have changed ownership through that process during the first five days of the meeting. In other claims, Mrs. H. C, Rumage acquired Curley Cue, Leo Beyda took Bess B., Mrs. Edward Haughton got Jadva, Clyde Troutt became the owner of Butter Beans and Mrs. J. A. Nix added Porcellus to her stable.
