RELEASE BRITISH VESSELS ! LONDON, England, Dec. 1. Yielding to the strongest British pressure, Generalissimo Francisco Franco released two merchantmen carrying British cargoes, which were seized by the Spanish Insurgents and held at Palma, Majorca. Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain made this announcement in the House of Commons today, after Laborite leaders had demanded that a warship be dispatched to rescue the ships.
