CARDS END BASEBALL SCHOOL ST. LOUIS, Mo, Dec. 1 Owner Sam Brea-don of the St. Louis Cardinals stated Wednesday that the annual spring baseball training classes would be discontinued for next year at least. A number of young Cardinal recruits attended a training camp for about two months last spring at Winter Haven, Fla., before the regular camp at St. Petersburg was opened.
