HOWARD STRING DEPARTS CHARLES TOWN, W. Va., Dec. 7. According to word from Baltimore, Md., the Charles S. Howard string, in charge of Tom Smith was shipped to Columbia, S. C. The shipment was headed by Seabiscuit. The horses will be rested until a definite campaign has been reached by their handlers.
