TJ. S. DELEGATION IN PERU CALLAO, Peru, Dec. 7. Determined, in the words of Secretary of State Cordell Hull, "to assure the continuance and safeguarding of our American system," the United States delegation to the eighth International Conference of American States arrived in Peru today. As the delegation disembarked at Callao, a few miles from Lima, where the conference will be held, Hull, in a statement, expressed confidence that the meeting of twenty-one American republics will "mark another significant milestone in the progress toward inter-American solidarity and understanding."
