I MUST ADMIT NEGRO STUDENT WASHINGTON, D. C, Dec. 13. The Supreme Court yesterday ruled that the University of Missouri must admit Lloyd L. Gaines, St. Louis Negro, to the university law school. Gaines appealed after the Missouri supreme court rejected his contention, finding that the state had provided equal educational opportunity for Negroes at Lincoln University. The decision was 6 to 2. Justices McReynolds and Butler dissented.
