AT HOME was well up and under good restraint for three-quarters, took command with a rush when fchaken up on the stretch turn and won with something in reserve. DELAYNOT, never far back and held in restraint for three-quarters, was hard riddfn thereafter, but was no match for the winner. CYNICAL saved ground, began to improve her position after a half mile and closed well. "BANNER WITCH made the pace without need of strong urging, bore out badly entering the stretch and tired. AJAYGEE raced evenly. GRAND VILLA moved into a contending position on the outside with a rush after a quarter, held on to jthe final quarter and then tired. CHARLOTTE G. had no mishaps. GOSTER had good speed from the beginning, saved ground and closed gamely, but could not menace the winner. . HENRY M. had good early speed and held on well in the drive. BOSTON SOUND, fractious at the post and placed on the outside of the stalls for the start, broke several lengths behind the field, was rushed into a contending position in the first quarter and raced evenly thereafter. SPORT HEEL broke fast, but could not keep up. VEDALIA was through early pnd pulled up lame. CHIPETA was outrun. CHERRY LEAF went lame and was pulled up in the final quarter. HEDON lost ground on the turn, responded to urging in the last quarter and closed gamely. SMITH DAVID, outrun for a half mile, made up ground thereafter. MISS COLLINS gave way badly after showing speed for five-eighths. IDLE WORKER was outrun. PIMA NUGGET and ALERGY fell when caught in close quarters on the turn and BOBBRAX ; stumbled into them, losin? his rider. MY SHADOW had good speed from the beginning, was in hand to the last quarter, responded to pressure thereafter and outfinished MIGHTY MISS. The latter made the pace, under light restraint, was hard ridden after reaching the stretch, was placed in close quarters by the winner and held on well. LINGER -AWHILE, never far back and steadied along for three-eighths, finished gamely thereafter under pressure. STREET ARAB was vigorously handled after three-eighths and held on fairly well in the drive. SET PAT tired after a half mile. LOSTAGAL was taken up at the start, raced wide and failed to threaten. BUSBY, taken under snug restraint early but never far out of it, responded readily when placed to strenuous urging, bore out slightly in the last quarter and drew clear in the last seventy yards, but was extended to the limit. BUILDING TRADES was hard pressed while setting the pace, lugged in when tiring in the stretch and caused SUMMIT HILL to be taken up. SUMMIT HILL forced the pace for most of the trip, encountered interference in the last eighth and held on with good courage. WANDEROBO broke well, dropped back soon thereafter and, saving ground throughout, finished strongly. RHIMEDA lacked early speed, then made up some ground in the last three-eighths. CHANTING had good speed from the beginning, was hard ridden after three-eighths and held on fairly well. GOLDEN NUGGETT saved ground and closed well. GOLDEN SILENCE, well up from the start, was placed in close quarters by DEDICATION an eighth out and did not recover. PANIC RELIEF quit after a half mile. PROSY was away poorly and did not threaten. GREEN COUNTRY, never far back and in hand for three-quarters, was hard ridden thereafter and closed gamely. TRIPLE PLAY, hard ridden after five-eighths, had no mishaps. FREEZE moved up slightly after a half mile, lost ground on the second turn and held on fairly well. MAYMISS gave way badly after showing speed to the last eighth. MOISSON was away poorly and never threatened. BARBARA J. was outrun. HERMOSILLO lost his rider when, placed in close quarters on the first turn.
