"QUAKERS" ARRIVE IN BERLIN BERLIN, Germany, Dec. 13. The American Friends Service Committee of the Society of Friends, "Quakers," arrived in Berlin today to begin a study of means of alleviating conditions resulting from measures against German Jews and Catholics. The three members of the committee conferred at the American embassy and consulate prior to visits to German officials. It was indicated here today that officials will be apathetic to the mission of the "Quaker" committee, which includes Rufus Jones of jHaverford, Pa., chairman; D. Robert Yar-nell, Philadelphia, and George A. Walton of Newton, Pa. .
