1 AGUA CALIENTE TURF NOTES s s Former jockey Charles Rosengarten was appointed to make the engagements for jockey Johnny Longden, leading rider of America, who will ride here. D. J. Elander who developed jockey Stanley Connell, has taken a contract on Robert Noell, sixteen-year-old apprentice rider from South San Francisco. The contract is to run for a duration of five years. The youngster had his first mount on a recognized race track when he rode Novito in the sixth race Saturday.
