GANGLAND REVENGE IN PRISON OSSINING, N. Y., Dec. 13. Gangland vengeance finally caught up with Matthew Kane behind the gray gates of Sing- Sing prison today. After failing once and killing youthful John OHara by mistake in Queens, a squad of executioners caught Kane outside his cell in Sing Sing. He was fatally stabbed Sunday in the prison where he had been returned, apparently for his own protection, and died at 10:35 a. m. today. Warden Lewis? F. Laws ordered five men seized, all of them convicts, but refused to reveal their identities or the charges against them. OHara, 26-year-old credit investigator, died because he was Kanes "double," the police are convinced.
