PREDILECTION went to the front early, dropped back when in close quarters on the inside around the far turn, then went to the outside in the stretch to again take command and win easily. JALEO saved ground in the stretch to finish gamely. MILLROSE was close up all the way. ANAHUAC forced the early pace, but tired in the stretch. BOSSIE SHEN also tired. SUDDENLY, close to the pace from the start, came to the middle of the track in the stretch and, jnoving up strongly, was bothered by TEMPER when the latter swerved in the stretch, then continued well to hold the latter to a dead heat. TEMPER moved up strongly to find an opening on the stretch turn and, although 1 swerving in the stretch, finished well. ALS PRIDE showed good form in .acemaking, but tired near the end. ROYAL ROVER closed a gap. CLAUDE K. was in close quarters a couple of times. RUTH JELINEK was in close quarters next to the rail after leaving the back stretch. SPORTING GREEN had early speed.
