29 STEIKEOUTS IN 2 GAMES j Charles Ellis, pitcher of the Wheaton College nine, has fanned twenty-nine batsmen in the two games he has hurled to date. Last week he set eighteen Aurora College players down via the strikeout route and last Saturday he fanned eleven in a game against the Chicago Teachers College. Wheaton won both games, the former by a score of 13 to 0 and the latter by a 9 to 1 count.
