LANTZ HEARING SATURDAY SPRINGFIELD, 111., -April 18 The subcommittee of the Illinois House of Representatives, appointed to consider the Lantz Senate Bill, which would abolish the present Illinois Racing Commission and substitute paid members, will hear arguments for the passage of the bill Saturday morning in the council chamber at the Chicago City Hall, at 10:30 a. m. Representative Peter C. Granata is chairman. One week later, defenders of the present commission vill be heard. The bill passed the Senate by a vote of 44 to 1, but must come before the House.
