HEAD COMING TO CHICAGO LOUISVILLE, Ky., April 18 C. Bruce Head, general manager at Lincoln Fields, is leaving here the end of this week or the beginning of next for Chicago where he will attend to matters relating to the meeting beginning at the Crete track on May 25. Head, now at Churchill Downs, where he will serve as steward, said that stakes for the Lincoln Fields meeting probably will be announced next week and nomination blanks are to be distributed shortly afterwards. It is the plan of the Lincoln Fields Jockey Club to stage added money features on each of the Saturdays of the meeting and on Decoration Day. The meeting at the Crete track opens the Chicago racing season.
