1 HAVRE DE GRACE NOTES s : Jockey Don Meade, who was restored to good standing by the Florida State Racing Commission and the New York State Racing Commission, is expected to apply for a riding license with the Maryland State Racing Commission on Thursday. Charles J. McLennan, racing secretary for the Maryland Jockey Club at Pimlico, released badge applications to horsemen early Tuesday. J. V. Stewart reported the arrival of a filly foal from the mare Singing Heart at his Romney Royal farm in Elkton, Md. The youngster is by Bright Knight. George Palmer, who has served as starter for the Delaware Steeplechase and Race Association at Delaware Park since the track was built, has been named for the same position for the meeting opening May 30. The new triangular-shaped- odds board, built in the centerfield at Pimlico, has been completed. Through an error, the name of Cockerel, owned by A. Untermyer, was omitted from the list of nominations in the Aberdeen Stakes. The colt, a winner here on opening day, is by Transmute Chickie. Elmer Trueman, who wintered fifteen members of the W. S. Kilmer stable at Pimlico during the winter months, moved the horses to Narragansett Park. W. A. Crawford, who has the main division of the stable at Remlik Hall, will bring twenty-five to Pimlico April 25. P. A. Markey, part owner of the Bomar Stable, is expected here on Thursday from Detroit to inspect the horses of the stable -that are in charge of R. E. Potts. J. M. Brooks has made plans to ship Boston Mary and other members of his stable to Narragansett Park on Saturday.
