TEN IN CLAIBORNE HANDICAP Arrange Attractive Mid-Week Card at Keeneland Track. Four Blue Grass Stakes and Kentucky Derby Eligibles Entered in Slickaway Furse Calexico to Carry 116 Pounds. LEXINGTON, Ky April 18 A very attractive program, headed by the Claiborne Handicap, for sprinters, and the Slickaway Purse, engaging four Blue Grass Stakes and Kentucky Derby eligibles, among a field of seven, will be run at Keeneland tomorrow. W. F. Morgans The Fighter will make his second local appearance in the Claiborne Handicap. He will carry the top weight of 120 pounds. Among those in the field of ten to oppose the son of Bull Dog is Silverette, leading sprinter of the Oaklawn Park season. The venerable daughter of Vandergrift will make her local seasons bow under 114 pounds. The Slickaway Purse has attracted Green-tree Stables Hash. He was withdrawn from todays feature. Viscounty, which finished second to Roll and Toss in the Crestwood Purse on opening day; Calexico, winner on Saturday, and Total Erlipse complete the list of stakes eligibles. Calexico will carry the top weight of 116 pounds over the one and one-sixteenth miles and will have the services of Johnny Barba. Five other well balanced races, two. of which engage two-year-olds, complete the program.
