TRANS -ATLANTIC FARE WASHINGTON, D. C, April 18. The oneway passenger fare for trans-Atlantic air travel has been tentatively fixed at 75. This tariff is contained in schedules drafted by Pan-American Airways and submitted to the civil aeronautics authority during hearing on the air lines application for mail payments. Air line officials said today the 75 rate probably will be put into effect at the opening of the regularly scheduled transoceanic service, regardless of how much money the government grants for carrying mail. According to present plans, there will j be no round-trip rate reduction.
