MARSAIL had no excuses, was well up throughout and finished tiring. CLAFLAG gained steadily and was going well when too late. FREEZE closed much, ground following a slow beginning. The others tired. DARBYALLEN closed gamely on the outside of PRUDENT MISS in the stretch arid outgamed the latter in the final drive. PRUDENT MISS raced into the lead with a rush in the first quarter and held on with determination right to the end. FLYING DOLL came strongly on the outside of the opposition in the stretch and was going well at the end. HALF SHOES raced forwardly and finished with good courage. LEAP YEAR LADY displayed much early speed, but tired in the stretch. WILLOW PLUME closed some ground. The-others were outpaced. SOUTH GALLANT moved up strongly on the outside at the far turn, drew clear nearing the turn for home, was headed when an eighth out, but, continuing gamely next inner rail, got up in the closing strides. NOAJEAN was a keen factor throughout, but hung and bore out slightly nearing the end, which cost her the race. JOY SWEEP closed up resolutely through the stretch. HOBBYSGIRL came very fast on the outside through the stretch. GEEZUM raced evenlv. COUNT UP showed snecd in spots. The nthors tired.
