RENNERT HANDICAP RENEWAL Field for Todays Pimlico Headliner Appears Well Matched — Easy Mon Probable Post Favorite. BALTIMORE, Md., May 1— Second of Pimlicos stakes will De the Rennert Handicap, six-furlongs dash for three-year-olds, which holds the feature spot on Tuesdays program. While the Rennert failed to attract any Preakness candidates of note, the field of nine appears well matched, with Calumet Farms Easy Mon likely to be the public choice in the betting. The Bomar Stable, which won the Rennert a year ago with Benjam, will be represented again tomorrow, this time by Suzanne Peck, . a winner during the Havre de Grace meeting. If anything pops up to oust Easy Mon from the position of favorite, it probably will be A. C. Bostwicks Belay, a son of Display, which won his only two starts at Havre de Grace with ease, although racing against somewhat inferior company. It is likely that Alfred Vanderbilts Trailer will come in for some support in the mutuels, although his only appearance this season was a disappointing one. Others scheduled to go are A. C. C. Stables Ace Call, P. H. Faulconers Roman Boy, Hal Price Headleys Atatime, E. R. Pikes Royal Teddy and Wheatley Stables Sea Captain. The Rennert, revived last season after a lapse since 1930, was won once before by Bostwick, whose Marche Militaire triumphed over Canter and Fly Man in 1926. Bostwick . and the Bomar Stable are the only ones with a chance to record a double in the stake.
