Ander-. sons One Night drew away into an easy lead to eventually score a handy victory in the Raymond E. Schaefer Trophy, best offering at Beulah Park this afternoon. Show Up held on long enough to earn the place award from Faust, the favorite, which closed a big gap from a slow beginning. With the success of One Night came the maiden victory for jockey E. Elam, who is ; under contract to Ivan Parke. Ray Schaefer made the presentation of his i trophy to Ivan Parke, trainer of One Night, at the conclusion of the race. Favorable conditions prevailed. It was , ladies day and a good crowd witnessed the racing, which was staged over a fast track for the first time since the opening of the meeting. Red Prince and Encircle led by rather comfortable margins throughout in their re-1 . spective races. Darbyallen, Lady Bessie and [ Broadkill only succeeded in outfooting their . j opposition to win after keen stretch struggles.
