CHATTED a factor from the start and forced to race very wide from the start, was under vigorous ur»in- earlv, but was taken in hand on the turn, took command with a rush when straight in the stretch and raced to the inside while drawing out. CENTUPLE, in close quarters early, entered contention with a rush when clear, was on the outside in the stretch and closed with determination .ALHALON was a sharp factor from the start, swerved slightly soon after reaching the stretch and tired in ho , las : eighth. SUNDODGER also raced prominently from the start, but tired after about threceighths. JIM LIPSCOMB met light interference shortly after the start. ENDY lacked speed. SPANISH BALL and HARD LOSER TONGANOXIE unseated his rider when he wheeled were outrun. BOOKMAN showed a flash of early speed. immediately after the start. JANICE, racine in splendid form and havine high speed from the start, was kept under steady restraint for a half mile, came around KINGS BLUE in the drive and was holding on with determination in the final stages. KINGS BLUE cut out a fast pace, was on the inside after reaching the stretch and held on well, but could not withstand the winners charee. EAGLE PASS, away slowly and badly outrun for a half mile, came with fine belated speed thereafter, but was lucky to finish third. THE FIGHTER, forced back approaching the turn, returned to contention quickly when clear, was briskly shaken up in the stretch, but, weakly ridden in the last fifty yards, cave way to EAGLE PASS in the closing stride. JOE SCHENCK tired. GOLD FLAG pulled up lame. TIGER showed only a flash of early speed, as did MISS BULL DOG. Overweight — Kings Blue, 3 pounds. SEVENTH RACE 1 1-8 MILES.
