W. L. SHELDON PASSES AWAY Wilbur L. Sheldon, former handicapper for the American Racing Record of Cincinnati, Ohio, and at the time of his death turf editor of the Collyer Publications, was laid to rest at Rosehill Cemetery on Saturday afternoon. He passed away suddenly last Thursday after a brief illness. Only 26 years of age, he was the step-son of the late James Carter, the original Carmac in the handicapping field.
