WAR ADMIRAL TOPS EXCELSIOR Riddle Star-Assigned 128 Pounds by J. B. Campbell for Saturdays Feature at Jamaica Course. NEW YORK, N. Y.f May 1.— John B. Campbell has handicapped Samuel D. Riddles War Admiral at 128 pounds for the Excelsior Handicap, which is to be decided at the Jamaica course, Saturday. This is a test of a mile and a sixteenth, to which ,500 is added, and the son of Man o War is just at his scale weight. It is also the same l impost that was assigned for the Metropolitan Handicap. William Woodwards Fighting Fox, which won the Jamaica Handicap so impressively Saturday, is in under 120 pounds, and at that weight he is right in the same notch with Maxwell Howards Sceneshif ter, Mrs. Parker Comings Thanksgiving, winner of the Philadelphia Handicap at Havre de Grace Saturday, and Marshall Fields Sir Damion, which raced so well in Florida during the winter. ALL WORKING WELL. Each of these has bean working well, and while it is hardly expected that War Admire 1 will be sent to the post, there is every expectation that the others named will be raced.
