AT POST— 4 minutes. Start good and slow. Won driving; second and third the same. CURLIQUEUE was rushed into command after the start, showed speed throughout while saving ground, responded in the final eighth and outlasted SET in the last few strides. The latter dwelt at the start, but ■was rushed up fast, responded when urged rounding the stretch turn and hung under weak handling at the finish. STAGEFRIGHT, on the outside rounding the stretch turn, was bothered slightly by SET in the final sixteenth. WISE BEE was blocked entering the stretch and then faltered. DOLLARVILLE closed ground well. TITILATOR was ridden wide all the way. CLOSE TO raced greenly. TOLA ROSE had a flash of early speed. SKY DOG faltered under urging. ATUM RE raced greenly. Start good and slow. Won driving; second and third the same. DINI raced forwardly from, the start on the inside, responded to urging in the stretch and outlasted MAJOR B. in the final strides. The latter moved up on the outside rounding the stretch turn, but was trying to bear in through the final sixteenth. SLAVE CHARM raced well up under restraint in the early running, then came to the outside in the stretch and finished fastest. BALLINDERRY raced forwardly from the start, but was bothered slightly by MAJOR B. when the latter was bearing in. BRAXTON came through on the inside in the final eighth. CARRIE K. closed ground steadily from a slow beginning. NIGHT TIDE had no mishaps in the running. GEORGES BREAK lacked speed. MODEST QUEEN could not keep up. FRIENDLY JANE lacked speed. DESPONDENT moved up with determination in the stretch run and closed with good courage, wore down the leaders and was drawing away at the end. CHICLUNA was sent into command at the start, showed speed throughout, but faltered suddenly in the final eighth. SILVER FLAME, in near pursuit of the pace from the start, had no mishaps. SECRET ROSE ran in spots but could not menace the leaders. THE WIND dropped back after the start and raced greenly all the way. BONNIE VIXEN lacked early speed. FLOOD TIDE had no mishaps. DRIFT ALONG, on the outside from the start, raced well. SOIGNE was cased back after the start and came with a belated rush through the stretch. MAY R. could not keep up under urging. TATTERDEMALION was outrun in the early stages, but improved his position on the inside and finished in a dead heat with BROWN KING. SILSWEEP moved up with good courage rounding the stretch turn on the inside and then faltered at the end. CHAMELEON stumbled at the start and then raced well. PETEE GENE lacked early speed.
