PARKING FEES AND TRAFFIC REGULATI0NS F0R DERBY DAY LOUISVILLE, Ky., May/ 5.— Parking fees on the Churchill Downs lots this year will be 25 cents and signs to this effect have been posted conspicuously, and Tom Young, track superintendent, said patrons are requested to pay no more. Young also said that boxes, ladders and other contraptions to give bearers a better view of the races will not be permitted past the turnstiles and vendors of novelties, such as periscopes, will not be permitted in the clubhouse. Traffic regulations in the city, according to Samuel H. McMeekin, Louisville safety director, will be much the same as last year when they were found to be very satisfactory. Under these regulations, principal lanes of traffic will be one-way from tho city to the track until after the Derby and then the traffic will be directed in the opposite direction. The police force at the Downs on Derby Day will consist of 1,038 National Guardsmen, 68 city policemen and 100 firemen. Ten physicians and forty nurses will be on duty.
