1 CHURCHILL DOWNS NOTES I ® — H» Word was received here that Julius Wilds mare, Negofille, foaled a colt by Cavalcade at the Wild Ranch in California some days ago. C. Bruce Head returned from Chicago for the final week of the Downs meeting. The three horses L. R. Morris brought here were registered. They are the two-year-olds Susie Quit and Negofols Idol, and the four-year-old Debris. A. G. Woodman left with the western string of the Le Mar Stock Farms horses for Lincoln Fields. The division includes Mar Le, Mad Money, Matchup, Mascot, Frontier, Marbold, Moonish, Multitude, Might Step, Maydig, Mellow Moon and Move Days. F. C. McAtee was a visitor at Churchill Downs, coming from his home in Lexington, and will remain for a few days. Henry Forrest brought the five-year-old gelding, Mt. Sard, from Latonia to be campaigned here this week. Jockey Jack Bryson will accompany the stable of eleven horses Charles H. Fergson is sending to Detroit Thursday. The major portion of the string consists of two-year-olds headed by the highly regarded Black Brummel. Former jockey Nick Burger reported the purchase of two horses from the Brown Hotel Stable at a private sale. Burger acquired Brown Corner and Courtesy First. The horses R. S. Byrum will ship to De- troit the latter part of the week are Royal Charm, Naughty, » Bellitas Babe, Adamite, Deft, Scrappy Miss, Lina Mac. Hindu Princess and Henry.
