FAIRMOUNT HONORS DOCTORS American Medical Association Purse Chief Event of Day — Seven Good Horses Entered Overnight. COLLINSVILLE, 111., May 15— The American Medical Association convention, which is convened in St. Louis, will be honored on the program of eight races to be presented tomorrow at Fairmount Park. The principal race of the afternoon, for three-year-olds and upward, and which will be contested over the mile and seventy yards route for a purse of 00 is named, "The American Medical Convention Purse." The race is carded sixth on the program and is for the higher bracketed claimers. In the main attraction of the day seven are entered, and such well-known routers as Jubilee C, Night Gail, Grecian Time, Yes Polly, Wardell Ormont, Marlie May and Hadnogal will go postward. The eight-race program, made up of a number of fine events, should prove exciting to the public. For those in attendance who enjoy the thrill of witnessing juvenile events, racing secretary Richard A. Leigh has a two-year-old race listed for decision. There are four sprint races to be contested and four route events to be decided, two at a mile, one at a mile and seventy yards and one at a mile and an eighth. With the return of racing Tuesday, following the second dark Monday, the Fairmount Park course swings into its second week of thoroughbred sport after an opening week marked by a large and gratifying attendance and a display of fine racing, which should point the way during the coming weeks to a successful spring meeting. With a continuation of Mondays ideal weather, the racing strip should be fast for Tuesdays card. Slight rains over the weekend were not sufficient to change track conditions. Post time for the first race Tuesday will be 2 p. m.
